The Lower Flathead Valley Community Foundation is a collection of funds
contributed by individual citizens, corporations, other charitable
organizations, and agencies to benefit our local area.
Our area of interest is the Flathead Indian Reservation and the surrounding
area. We support local, worthwhile community projects with income from a
permanent endowment fund, which began with $1,000,000 and increased
substantially since from additional contributions by individuals and
organizations.
All contributions to the permanent endowment are held in perpetuity and can not
be spent. Only the income is distributed. there are no administrative fees for
contributions to the permanent endowment fund.
